Live Music Performance Projects
Typical examples include:
- Solo instrument with or without accompaniment
- Small instrumental or vocal ensemble with or without accompaniment
- Acoustic Jazz band
- Large instrumental group such as a symphony orchestra or symphonic wind band
- Symphonic ensemble with or without choir
- Symphonic ensemble with one or more soloists
- Choral society with Orchestra and soloists
Typically, recording projects that fall into this category are mixed live to stereo using portable equipment and up to 5 wired microphones. There is no requirement to access mains power, so recordings can be made anywhere.
For projects where a video recording is also required, wired and wireless camera feeds can be provided although the cost of providing a video recording service is not included in the cost.
Greenside Productions imposes no restriction on the customer’s use of the recording, although it is the customers responsibility to cover any performance and/or copyright fees that may arise from the performance and any subsequent use of the recording.
Other included features of the service:
- Depending on the performance and music genre it may be possible to organise broadcast of the performance through local and/or national radio facilities.
- The resulting audio data is provided to the customer by internet download or personal collection.
- The audio is recorded at 48kHz 24 bit resolution and provided PCM encoded in Broadcast WAV Format. Higher sampling rates are available upon request.
Assumptions:
- Up to 30 minutes required for setup prior to sound-check.
- Up to 15 minutes required for sound-check immediately prior to the performance.
- Recording venue within Metropolitan Melbourne.

Premium Recording Services
The following premium services are offered
- Multitrack Recording – to be mixed to stereo or surround at a later date
- Up to 64 simultaneous channels recorded
- Microphone split feeds for monitor or front-of-house mix
- Line Level stage returns ( up to 8 )
- Backup recording (i.e. two simultaneous recordings for security)
- Remote monitoring/control room location (offstage up to 300m)
- Telephone communications between control room and performance stage

Standard Terms and Conditions
- Customer is responsible for any performance, publisher or copyright fees due as a result of any performance recorded by Greenside Productions and the subsequent use by the customer of that recording.
- All rights in the recording remain with Greenside Productions until payment received in full.
- Greenside Productions retains the right to use any recording made by us for promotional purposes.
